Talking to Your Youth About Drugs – a Letter for Parents & Guardians
Dr. Perry Kendall, the Provincial Health Officer, has written a letter to parents and guardians regarding substance use and the current opioid overdose crisis (see Attachment ). The letter provides helpful tips on how to talk to your kids about substance use and identifies important provincial resources.

Our School Board does not insure expenses for student injuries that happen on school grounds or during school activities.  Therefore, we recognize the benefits of Student Accident Insurance, especially for students who are participating in school athletic programs and may be at risk of dental injuries requiring costly repairs.  Schools Protection Program (SPP) provides liability coverage to our district.  It does not provide accident coverage to an injured student.
