CSS Auto Service Technician Prog.

This Auto Service Technician program allows high school students to take pre-apprenticeship (technical) training that provides them with dual-credit (up to 32 credits) for high school courses and apprenticeship or industry training programs.  This is an innovative partnership between the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) and the Chilliwack School District.  Grade-11 students can apply to pursue an apprenticeship career path to obtain the first level of technical training in a particular trade in their grade-12 year.

Auto Service Tech. students start the program at Chilliwack Secondary and finish the program in second semester of Grade 12 at UFV.  Upon successful completion of the Auto Service Technician program, students will be well-prepared for a variety of employment opportunities in the Automotive industry.

Youth TRAIN in Trades Programs are tuition-free, however students are required to pay ancillary fees and materials.

Application process is competitive and space is limited.  Please see your school Counsellor for an application.

* Please note: Opportunities for out-of-catchment students into these programs will be limited to spaces available.
