GRAD YEARBOOK SUBMISSIONS
Grad Yearbook Quotes & Baby Photos
The deadline to submit grad quotes to the yearbook is December 1st.
Quote criteria:
1. School appropriate: No foul or derogatory language (hint: If Mrs. Wicker wouldn’t be able to read it on the announcements, it’s probably not going to be accepted)
2. Cannot be a link to any digital content
3. 150 characters maximum in length

If grad quotes are not submitted, a quote will be provided for you beside your picture.
Grad quotes will be posted outside of the office in January for 30 days for students to view and confirm – any errors should be reported directly to Mrs. O’Brien in room 2009 or by email css-yearbook@sd33.bc.ca
GRAD PHOTOS
Regular Photo Dates: November 18 - 28, 2026 in the mobile trailer at the front of the school
Retake Photo Dates (composite & Yearbook Photo only): January 19, 2027 in the Grand Hall
GRAD HOODIE ORDERS
The online store is currently closed, check back in October.
Please note any late orders will not be accepted to ensure delivery deadlines are met. All orders will be placed at the close of the sale.
**Expected order delivery date is approximately 8 weeks from the end of the sale, not from date of purchase. This is subject to change if the sale is extended.
GRAD RAFFLE
The grad raffle will be live in the new school year! All proceeds support the Grad Banquet & Dance, helping to reduce the overall ticket cost for grads.
- Tickets are $10 each
- Prizes include $2,000, $1,000, and $500
- Only 1,000 tickets will be sold
Students are encouraged to come to the office to pick up a ticket sales sheet or print one here and sell tickets to family and friends. Tickets can be purchased online or through the office.

GRAD AUCTION

Cost: $25 per person or $175 for a table of 8 - tickets on sale online or at the office

GRAD CRUISE
Date: May 7, 2027
Time: 3:45pm arrive at CSS, bus leaves at 4:15pm, returns at 12am
Cost: $110 (subject to change), tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable
This event is for CSS grads only. All school rules apply. Deadline to purchase tickets: April 29, 2027. Grad Cruise ticket availability is based on event capacity and the event may be sold out before April 29.
GRAD BREAKFAST & GRAD PACKAGE HANDOUT
Location: Main Gym
Date: May 20, 2027
Time: 8:30am
Grads will gather in the main gym for a brief meeting, followed by a complimentary breakfast in the Grand Hall. After breakfast, they will receive their graduation packages, which include all purchased tickets, financial award invitations, and their cap and gown.
COMMENCEMENT REHEARSAL

COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES

Time: 1:00pm
Cost: $100 (subject to change)
Commencement Invitation & Grad Gown Distribution - May 2: All graduates will receive four guest invitations. Additional tickets may be available to be purchased at $7 (subject to change) as long as we are under the capacity limits. Grads do not need a ticket for themselves.
Cultural Regalia: All students are welcome to wear cultural regalia in addition to their grad gown. Students of Indigenous ancestry are welcome to make and/or wear cedar grad caps.
BANQUET & DANCE
Location: Chilliwack Curling Club, 45550 Spadina Ave
Date: June 23, 2027
Time: 5pm (arrive at 4:30pm for group photo)
Cost: $100 (subject to change)
Guest passes: Any grad bringing a guest to the Banquet & Dance who is NOT in grade 12 at Chilliwack Secondary School will require an approved guest pass. All guests must be a grade 10-12 student in the Chilliwack School District. Guests must be approved by administration in order to be considered and must be approved before purchasing tickets. Guest passes must be completed and returned to the office by Wednesday, June 2 and the deadline to purchase tickets is June 9 at 3pm.
